This is the all grain version of a previous partial mash recipe based on this St. Bernardus Abt 12 clone. There has clearly been some confusion in my record keeping because I used D-90 on the partial mash, but in Brewtarget I had D-45 listed for the all grain version which I recorded there at the same time as when I brewed the partial mash one. As noted on the partial mash recipe, the D-45 (D-90 there) is vague and the official recipe just says "Caramelized Beet Sugar (Dark)" which might mean anything.

I also changed up the amount of the syrups just for convenience, allowing the purchase of 3 Lbs of syrup and not needing to worry about left overs rather than buying 4 Lbs and having 1/2 Lb of each left. I possibly should have gone 1 each of D-45, D-90, and D-180 or 2 of D-180 and 1 of D-45.

I currently use SafAle BE-256 for fermenting this beer.
