This recipe is likely to change between my original use and whenever someone may be reading this. Here are the notes from my first brewing of the beer.

This is adapted from the book "Clone Brews Recipes for 200 Commercial Beers" by Tess and Mark Szamatulski. This book has a lot of great beers in it. Many of the recipes are fairly close to recipes for the clones of the same beer from other well respected books and home brewers.

The book is showing its age a bit in terms of process and so I had to tweak a bit. It calls for a 90 minute mash for all grain and a 90 minute boil. It is focused on malt extract recipes, but does include instructions for adjusting for all grain. The recipes are also written for brewing a small concentrated batch on the stove top and then adding water later.

Just due to what was simple, I have adjusted the hops. The original recipe used a split of East Kent Goldings and Fuggles with about 1 oz of 4.2% AA East Kent Goldings going in for the full 90 minutes and then 1/2 oz Fuggles (no AA specified) and 1.5 oz East Kent Goldings (no AA specified, but presumably the same 4.2%) for the last 15 minutes.

My initial brew of this recipe did not turn out as intended. It turned out tasty, but not right. My original gravity was low (probably a process thing, I'm working some things out and if I need to sparge, it falls apart) and then my final gravity was low which was at least partially due to the low original gravity. I also used different yeast than they recommend and so perhaps used a more aggressive yeast.
